HARDLINE™ REAR ENGINE MOUNT FOR THE MAZDASPEED 3 (fits all Mazda3 models 2003-2013) Hardline Performance™ products are manufactured with high-grade materials right here in the USA. All Hardline products include a lifetime warranty, which includes the urethane.
There are three engine mounts that hold the Mazda engine in place. The Hardline Rear Engine Mount is a direct replacement for the factory rear engine mount. Hardline Engine Mounts remove shift thump, wheel hop, and torque steer - reclaiming lost power and transferring it to the asphalt. Our mounts are designed to be used with each other and factory engine mounts. Hardline mounts are made to take a beating, the last engine mount you will ever purchase.
MATERIAL All
materials are manufactured in the USA. The mount housing is 6061
aluminum and the bolt sleeve is 303 stainless steel. All 3 grades of
polyurethane are virgin, high-grade compounds. The included hardware is
a zinc-plated 80mm class 8.8 bolt and washer.
URETHANE We
have the greatest polyurethane formula on the market and we back it
with a lifetime warranty. Our urethane outperforms common polyurethane
used in engine mounts such as in tensile strength,
heat resistance, tear strength, longevity, and overall performance . As
always, our urethane is made right here in the USA.
We do NOT use any kind of rubber (EPDM) in our engine mounts. Data says
EPDM is good for roofs and weatherstripping, not engine mounts.
Our urethane bushings are available in Class 1 (Street), Class 2
(Aggressive), & Class 3 (Track). Select the class that best fits
your performance needs. Our urethane grades are interchangeable for each engine mount and are available separately.
Class 1 (Street) - 70A +/-2 - Recommended for up to 325 WHP - Best for a conservative driver who wants the least amount of NVH. Class
2 (Aggressive) - 88A +/-2 - Recommended for up to 600 WHP - Best for an
aggressive driver who doesn't mind a moderate amount of NVH. Class
3 (Track) - 96A +/-2 - Unlimited WHP - Best for an aggressive driver
actively hitting the track, chooses performance over NVH levels. Noise, Vibration, & Harshness - NVH settles as the vehicle is driven, please allow 500 miles for acclimation.
As horsepower and torque increases during the modification process,
upgrading urethane to a harder Class is a simple process. Also, no
matter what power level you are at, if you split a bushing or fatigue
our urethane in any manner, our Lifetime Warranty covers replacements at no cost to you, including free shipping.
