Description

Street Unit Performance Billet Aluminum Solid Shifter Spacers

Application:
MAZDASPEED 6, Mazda 6

Part Number:
SUM6ASSB

StreetUnit Solid Shifter Spacers replace the stock rubber grommets that hold the shifter cage in place.  The use of the SU Solid Shifter Spacers create more responsive shifts in your Mazda 6/MAZDASPEED 6.  The stock rubber bushings allow shifting to be sloppy, having solid spacers removes this sloppy feeling and improves your driving experience without losing any drivability.

5 of 5 Inexpensive and makes a difference! July 8, 2024

For the price of one meal at a restaurant, you cant beat that the shifter spacers do. Upon install, I found that my oem shifter spacers were shot. The rubber was soft enough to cut with my fingernail. The StreetUnit spacers made everything a little more crispy.

4 of 5 Not a bad upgrade. October 29, 2014

Makes the shifter feel a little more solid and firm. Would be 5 stars but the set I received wasn't billet aluminum, just plain black heavy metal. Not that big of a deal to me, I'm never going to see it again once it's installed.

5 of 5 Shifter Bushings July 8, 2010
Reviewer: Andrew Scarff from Naperville, IL United States
These were a great purchase for the car, really makes shifting much more positive with much less slack and more of a click into gear, only complaint is that the top left stock bushing is a PITA to get to, i would suggest not removing the linkage on the driver side as the instructions say but to use a 12mm wrench to turn loosen the bolt from the top. overall a great buy though.
