5 of 5 Very significant increase in performance! August 27, 2020

I am very late in writing a well-deserved review, as I bought my SMIC with cold pipes back in 2004 or 2005 if my memory serves me well.  The only other mods I've made are a CAI and a freer flowing exhaust.  I made these mods before the SMIC.  The SMIC made a huge difference in the power.  This was really the best  value by far of my mods.  I'd recommend buying the pipes from SU as well.  I have 148,748 miles on my MSP and it has never needed a major repair.  What a great car we have, guys!

5 of 5 SMIC = Amazing April 9, 2011

This SMIC is fantastic! It really opened up the airway and you can tell!  High gains in the mid to high RPM range.  I have this with my CAI and exhaust and now you can really hear the turbo spool and these 3 upgrades really bring the car alive!  If you don't want to cut a lot of metal and spend $1000+ for a FMIC, I highly recommend this upgrade!

4 of 5 great product July 12, 2010
Reviewer: Adam Cincotti from Oak Harbor, WA United States
I am very happy with this smic. The fit was a little tight and required a little coaxing to sit perfectly, but nothing be upset over. The one problem I had was fitting the oem pipes to the smic. It is supposed to be a direct fit but the oem pipes were slightly too big. Easy fix though, I used a couple reducers that I bought from NAPA and in less than 20 minutes including clean up the problem was solved. The benefits of this smic were immediately noticeable. My Turbo is spooling faster, I have better torque and substantially more power, and I love the sound of my car breathing better.

4 of 5 SMIC March 29, 2008
Reviewer: Lucas Lee from Henderson, NV United States
The fit for mine was terible. I cant even bolt all my fan bolts back in. I had to bend in the metal around the front of the intercooler for it to fit. Not to mention it was obviously dropped and i had to bend the tab back into place. But when i shifted into second and squeaked the tires it made it all worth it.
