These are the most recently UPDATED MAZDASPEED Limited Slip Differentials (LSD) and for additional strength we also TIG WELD both sides of the diff.

Additional essentials to replacing the MSP LSDs are two Main Shaft Bearings and two Axle Seals.

My diff used to be in one piece. Until I broke it. Ordered this differential - looks great! Factory updated Mazda unit, very nicely TIG welded all around. Looks nice and strong! The new bearings and seals are a MUST, but INSPECT THEM! One of the bearings I received was manufactured incorrectly - 7 of the rollers were installed upside-down. I'm sure this was just a fluke - definately NOT the fault of SU. The new diff went in with no problems!

I, unfortunately, had my cheaply made oem lsd break on me.  Long story short, I replaced it with this one and this is much stronger!  With it being the revised lsd it is stronger then the stock one and on top of that it is very nicely tig welded all the way around.  Unless you have money for the Quaife lsd, there is not a better option.  Highly recommended!
