After spending long hours and thousands of dollars building that high powered engine, you need a quality clutch that can properly transfer that power into motion. Count on ACT clutches for quality, performance and affordability.

ACT recognizes that every driver and engine set-up is unique, so a variety of complete clutch kits and components are offered to match virtually any situation. ACT’s complete clutch kits include a pressure plate, disc, release bearing, and (in most cases) a pilot bearing and alignment tool. The kit guide on the next page will help you select the ACT kit that best fits your needs. The following pages include ACT clutch kits and components listed by application. Torque capacities are provided for every clutch combination. When a specific flywheel is required for an ACT Clutch, it will be designated in the chart for your convenience.

Consider carefully which clutch is right for your car. First you need a clutch that will hold all the power, but not too excessive. For street use, you also need a long lasting clutch that has a positive feel, smooth engagement and quiet operation. For racing, you need a tough clutch that will enable quick shifts and hard slips all the way to the finish line.

2 of 5 Works, but won't wear March 29, 2013
Reviewer: D.H. from Albuquerque, NM United States
Installed this kit on MS3 to replace the stock clutch at 98K.  8 mo later, during engine build/replace, mechs pulled it and reported... "It's trashed..on the rivets...looks like 75K miles on it!"  I don't race the car, but I "DRIVE" about 1,100 mi/month. Do the math...100K (stock clutch) -10K (this one) = 2 stars? I'm going with something different  this time.  DH  ABQ, NM

4 of 5 Have it installed by a professional November 14, 2012

I just had my ACT Street Clutch installed today and outside of the minimal engine chatter when you are off of the clutch it engages wonderfully and give me plenty of pull. I have an 07 MS3 with a Cobb SRI, TIH and AP. It takes some getting used to but I like it so far. I don't foresee having any problems in the future because I'm not a super aggressive driver.

1 of 5 Worst purchase ever September 22, 2011
Reviewer: Mark Doucette from Lake Elsinore, CA United States
I got this clutch after my stock clutch went out.  It rattled from day 1.  Still rattles and now the car vibrates and rattles more than ever.  The car was perfectly fine until I put this clutch in the vehicle.  DO NOT BUY.  I know all sales are final but I really wish I could get a better clutch in place of this junk.

1 of 5 Quality = Sub Par May 10, 2011
Reviewer: Mike Browning from Sherwood Park, AB Canada
this clutch is supposed to be a good clutch for mildly modified cars, all i have is cobb short ram intake, cobb turbo inlet, and greddy cat back... yet this clutch (with light to medium driving, nothing spirited) is starting to go already (8000 Miles on it)

something is not right, it is not what I had expected, and should NOT be running this foul yet. i do not "pop" the clutch, nor do i track or race my car, just nice daily driving. no launches etc.

VERY UNIMPRESSED, i am never going to buy another ACT clutch, and I wish someone would have warned me about this before hand... Spec stage 2+ clutch and Fidanza Flywheel will be my next combo...

My next move is to call ACT and Street Unit and see what they will do to rectify the situation... hopefully something will be done.

1 of 5 act street clutch April 26, 2011
Reviewer: nate from slidell, LA United States
Absolute disaster.. do not buy this clutch.  I replaced my blown up stock clutch w this clutch for obvious reasons... price.
Wish i had gone w OEM the clutch pedal is much stiffer placing more press7re on the pedal and hydraulic system than the OEM, less than 4000 miles after installing the clutxh it actually popped the mount on the firewall and we had to re weld it.  The shifting went from sticky to refusing to go into gear.. reverse being the worse.  To make things worse a clutch change in this car is a nightmare beingbthat it is a sidewards mounted all-wheel drive turbo.. im talking $2k plus at the dealership.. nthng but problems aftr installung this clutch, i traded in my ms6 today, first brand new car i ever bought, and if it wasnt for this clutch id still have it.  DO NOT BUY THIS
CLUTCH u will regret it. I wld have.gave it negative stars if i could. ACT. say the clutch is designed for my car and the dlrshp says they installed it properly (paretti n.o) someone is lying to me
