wife friendly February 17, 2012 Reviewer: Central Cali from Fresno, CA United States   Great craftsmanship! The exhaust note was not what I was looking for :-( , and I guess I wanted the exhaust to sound a little deeper and louder.   Another easy way to fix that,  is a cheap mod that I highly recommend a testpipe, sound like a beast, now!  I’m happy! :-o Was this review helpful to you?

Awesome sound January 16, 2012 Reviewer: JPharmD from Bakersfield   Just installed; offers a deep, throaty sound that doesn't sound ricey. Great Sounding Exhaust August 11, 2011 Reviewer: Bradley Strasser from Stoddard, WI United States   I have had this exhaust for a little over a year and have nothing but good things to say about it.  Deeper note when downshifting, quiet when cruising and a little aggressive when accelerating.  I also have the Sure Intake, COBB turbo inlet and street unit boost tubes.  All I can say better MPG, awesome sounding and just waiting for the test pipe. Great Sound! January 17, 2011 Reviewer: Paul Belmonte from Laredo, TX United States   I had it installed professionally at Cobb HQ in Austin with the Cobb DP.  I wanted to do it myself, but I live near Austin and I have no access to a lift so it made sense to get it done there.  I also didn't want to run into problems with the 0 2 sensors and broken bolts.  Glad I went with Cobb on the install. Price was reasonable and was exactly what they said it would be.  Stage 2 is a huge difference in power and the sound of the HKS made my car a completely different animal. If you want a stealth exhaust WOT, do not get this one.  Not a power mod but I didn't like the stock exhaust sound.  It was loud as hell on downshifts and droned like none other. The HKS is nice and quiet at low rpm's but when you hammer it you'll turn a lot of heads.  I haven't seen a lot of cat backs in person, but the fit and finish were very good.  Highly recommended if your looking for an aggressive note WOT at a good price.  Who cares if you have to cut the stocker. Great sound, great fit, as always SU great service October 13, 2010 Reviewer: Mike Profeta from Vero Beach, FL United States   I literally ordered this from Mark here at SU over the phone about 1:45 pm on a Tuesday, and granted I am only an hour and a half away from the SU warehouse, I recieved my HKS CBE in less than 24 hours!!! The install went without a hitch, like others have said the hardest part is cutting out the stock exhaust. Just for anyone who wants to know... I have the downpipe from Enjuku Racing and it doesn't reuse the stock donut gasket setup, but this exhaust kit is compatible with either the donut setup or the traditional flat gasket! I tested the car for leaks after each of the 3 flanges were tightened down and had none whatsoever. With a straight catless DP and this exhaust, my car sounds deep and throaty but not too loud like my straightpipe setup used to be. All in all this is an amazing piece of engineering, looks beautiful and sounds great! Was this review helpful to you?

The BEST exhaust hands down August 1, 2010 Reviewer: Justin from Gilbertsville, PA United States   I really did my research when looking for an exhaust and this was the only one that stood out. I watched countless videos of other exhaust's but none compare. After hearing this HKS in person on someone else's Speed3, I knew I had to have it. It fit like a glove and the craftsmanship is remarkable. The only difficult part was removing the stock exhaust because I did not want to cut it so I had a mechanic at work drop the rear subframe to get it off. Once that was done the HKS went in smooth. The sound is excellent, especially paired with my SU test pipe. Not to loud in the cabin and it is very deep. I didn't want a rice sounding exhaust or one that made it seem like I was begging for attention. This turns peoples heads without being obnoxious the least bit. If you are looking to get an exhaust for your Speed3 this is the only choice and why not with the price. Oh and Street Unit's customer service was the best (as always). Wow March 31, 2010 Reviewer: Joey Maiore from Bloomfield, NJ United States   I couldn't wait until the exhaust arrived... And when I installed it I was not let down. Install took about an hour and only part that was hard was cutting the out exhaust out.. Everything fit like a glove... And now to the sound.  The second I turned th key and stepped on the gas a smile just stuck on moe and my friends faces it's a nice deep tone and not at all too loud and not one bit ricey...
