Forge BPV December 4, 2013 Reviewer: Zachary Wood from North Charleston, SC United States   Decided to go with this BPV over a Turbosmart BPV. I bought an aftermarket BPV to hold boost in higher rpms, this definitely does. Also wanted a different sound. It sounds like a ping noise or as other people say, two swords hitting each other. Pretty simple to install, took about 10 minutes to do so. I've had it on for 3 days so far. Had a little issue with screwing it down to my piping from having it connected to the hose first that goes to my intake. The knob was angled too much on the BPV, will see if I can re-angle it sometime soon. Also from that issue,  I thought I might have gotten the wrong BPV due to the Part# being "FMWRX3". I guess the fitting is the same. Over all great product and I am very pleased. Was this review helpful to you?

Forge BPV May 17, 2012 Reviewer: Anonymous Person from NY   Great construction, no instructions, but simple enough to do. Forge Motorsports went green and decided to exclude paper directions.  That's ok though, FOR PEOPLE WHO KNOW HOW TO USE THE INTERNET, FORGE'S WEBSITE OFFERS DIRECTIONS FOR DOWNLOAD ON THEIR SITE!!!! If you don't know what you are doing, have someone who does help you! With improper installation, you can damage the o-rings, causing leaks (so, for the gentleman who rated this product above, that's why you have leaks) Was this review helpful to you?

Forge BPV December 15, 2011 Reviewer: Michael Zubritsky from Las Vegas, NV United States   Just installed the BPV earlier today, and its loud as crap! I love it though. It reminds me of two swords clanging together. Performance wise: its smoother and slightly more responsive. I left the spring in there as it came and kept the two shims out....not quite sure what they are for. Can anyone help me with that? But overall, its a freakin head turner. So awesome. Forge BPV March 20, 2011 Reviewer: Colton R from Santa Fe, NM United States   This piece is great!!! I have it installed with just the stock airbox and you can still hear the nice clanging noise when i shift. It took only about 10 minutes to install and I have almost no boost leaks over the stock oem unit. holds boost up to about 5500 rpm now. Forge BPV January 20, 2011 Reviewer: David Horner from Lehigh Acres, FL United States   First I would like to say the overall construction is very nice but...Looks are not everything!!! I got a 2010 MS3, and for me this application did not work out as well as I hoped. There is no paper work in the box telling you which spring is what, You get your valve,3 springs & 2 shims thats it. Also the OEM dump valve has alot more spring pressure than this aftermarket unit even with the hardest spring w/ 2 shims. I for one did not notice any difference between the 2 as far as performance. However though I did get a leak after about one week of use..The o-rings still looked like new and were not out of whack, piston inside was free and everything. I even called Forge in Orlando,FL..."AND I QUOTE" THEY STATED TO ME THAT THIS BPV WAS NOT REALLY INTENDED FOR THIS CAR, IT WAS MENT FOR THE VOLKSWAGONS AND THE SUBARU TURBOCHARGED CARS. All they done was added the harder spring to try to match the OEM valve. So I trashed it and bought a Turbosmart BPV and been happy ever since. Was this review helpful to you?

Quality product from Forge!!! August 31, 2010 Reviewer: Anonymous Person from Youngsville, NC United States   Just installed this yesterday and it really does make the car feel more responsive.  I used the blue spring +2 shims on a fairly stock 2010 MS3 and it seems to hold the boost better at the top RPM.  The vacuum fitting is a bit smaller than the factory BPV so a new clamp might be in order.  Just make sure that your o-ring is with the valve...mine was missing but SU did a good job of getting it to me!
