Good: Nice and heavy, reduces shifting effort, looks clean. Bought from SURE directly.

Cons: Cold in the morning - even in Florida, hot in the day. I knew that going in and it doesn't bother me. Also, When I screwed mine in all the way, there was a 3-5 CM Gap between the boot and the knob. It would screw down anymore and looked like shit. I put 4 washers under the shift boot leather and tried again - that's better. Not sure if it was a defect or a common "issue". Nothing that a few washers would fix. Mind you that is cosmetic, not functional.

Really like the weight on this shift knob. Reduced effort to get into each gear. This is a must have in combination with a short shift plate. Lightning fast shipping.

I read all the reviews on this shift knob and others and also considered the aluminum Sure shift knob.  I love this shift knob.  It matches perfectly!  Its weight is perfect.  I wasn't sure what to expect but the weight feels nice.  It doesn't change the shift characteristics drastically, but improves the smoothness slightly.  If feels fantastic. Very well machined.  If I lived in a cold climate I would not purchase this knob unless you want to use it in the summer time.  The grip temperature definitely is influenced by the ambient temperature.  If your windows are tinted then I wouldnt worry about the heat, but the cold will definitely affect it.  A definitely must have in my opinion.

I was a bit weary of the weight thinking it may affect the feel, but so far it's very smooth, not clunky or awkward. A very nice feel to the shift.

I was actually really surprised when i replaced the shift knob on my car. It is much more comfortable and i can feel a little difference in throws. Definitely a keeper.
