AEM/MS3 CAI March 3, 2011 Reviewer: Kris from GTA   This intake utilizes a smaller diameter air meter housing, this in-turn throws off the fuel trims for your Gen1 & Gen2 and increases your fuel dilution in your oil! I had up to 10% at 3200miles. Do not buy unless you have ability to recalibrate ECU for new MAF diameter. I bought one from dealer and had installed by them and got full refund as part not meant for Gen2 but would have same effect on Gen1 Was this review helpful to you?

Fantastic August 2, 2010 Reviewer: Will Dodd from Amherst, OH United States   Excellent product. The directions left something to be desired...if I had tried to install this with just the directions provided with the product I would've never gotten in on my car. Luckily I am a member of several helpful forums where people have already installed this product and we able to guide me in the right direction. As far as the product once it is installed....absolutely fantastic....noticeably more power, you can hear the turbo spool and the stock BPV. GREAT July 21, 2009 Reviewer: Mykel Ward from ozark, AL United States   This product is really good. Lot's of power once installed. Don't worry to much about water being sucked into the intake. I put nearly 5K miles with it on before having to change it into a SRI cause of a new intercooler... It makes a great sound too. Was this review helpful to you?

Didn't buy it here. June 19, 2009 Reviewer: Nicholas Roberts from San Diego, CA United States   Search your local dealerships, have them search local parts departments for you.  I managed to get my hands on one and installed it that weekend. Holy Jesus-flakes!  This adds serious power, has given me better mileage (+1.5 mpg), increases throttle response, and sounds amazing past 3k. Was this review helpful to you?

I ordered one yesterday evening and received an email stating that this item is discontinued and i needed to proceed with a different item or have my money refunded. Just a warning January 21, 2009 Reviewer: Chris Cousler from Universal City, TX United States   I didn't buy this product, but I spoke to my local Mazdaspeed dealer and the person there said that with the placement of the Mazdaspeed CAIs you have to be careful when driving around water.  He said that since it's so low to the ground once installed, that driving through even a shallow puddle can suck water into the CAI and flood the engine.  Just thought it would be helpful! Amazing piece, great looks, DEFINITE increase! December 31, 2008 Reviewer: Kyle Daniels from Canoga Park, CA United States   This unit is awesome! It looks beautiful, fits great, and is CARB legal for those of us in CA there the cops crack down on this type of stuff. The unit makes huge power gains that can be felt as soon as you get on it. The bov gets much louder, the turbo sounds and spooling are audible, and the sucking air sound from the intake it loud even inside of the car. A Thing of Beauty October 21, 2008 Reviewer: Mark Webster from Franklin, NH United States   If you're thinking about buying another brand CAI, don't do it. This one will keep your warranty in tact and it is the best one out there anyway. You will immediately hear and feel the difference in performance. You will gain approx 15 - 20 hp . BUY THIS you won't be dissappointed. You should also add the MAZDASPEED CATBACK EXHAUST to really get the full effect. DO IT!!! Was this review helpful to you?
