AEM Cold Air Intake Filter Assembly For MAZDASPEED 6
Largest Gains: 29.9 HP @ 6200 RPM
25.3 ft-lbs @ 6200 RPM

The AEM Cold Air Intake features a mandrel-bent 6061 aluminum inlet pipe for durability and light weight. Each AEM Cold Air Intake system's length and diameter has been tuned and tested to work with an engine's harmonics (resonance frequencies) to help carry more air to the inlet valves across the RPM range.

Each AEM Cold Air Intake features one of AEM's revolutionary DRYFLOW filters. Their unique non-woven polyester element is independently tested to filter out 98.6% of airborne fine dust in initial efficiency, with an industry leading cumulative efficiency of 99.4% (cumulative efficiency is the average for the test cycle). The DRYFLOW also filters down to ONE MICRON of particulate! Competitors claim that as the filter gets dirty, it filters more efficiently. While this is true, what they dont tell you is that their clean filter lets dirt through until it traps enough to become efficient! Get the best filtration the first time with AEM BRUTE FORCE intakes and the DRYFLOW Synthetic filter.

All AEM Cold Air Intake systems come with a complete hardware kit and a comprehensive installation instruction guide.

Every AEM Cold Air Intake is either C.A.R.B. exempt or pending C.A.R.B. exemption (50-state legal). All AEM Cold Air Intakes are manufactured and assembled in the U.S.A.

As with other AEM air intake systems, the AEM Cold Air Intake comes in a variety of colors: red, blue, silver, or polished. For the silver color option, the AEM Cold Air Intake features a high-gloss titanium-like powder coating that reduces heat soak and enhances its look. Please indicate your color choice when ordering this AEM air intake system.

5 of 5 awesome product January 12, 2012
Reviewer: John M from Ontario, Canada
great power gains and the sound of the turbo pulling on boost is intoxicating. Tip: get a K&N drycharger or similar product to keep moisture from getting at the filter since it does reside down near the wheel well, and make up a sheild to cover the louvers in the wheel well liner, because if you leave them open, your filter will get dirty in a matter of weeks

5 of 5 Great sound ... Great price September 20, 2008
Reviewer: Steve Bailey from Abingdon, MD United States
Great performance gain, sounds great with the new SU blow off unit and it was a good price.  It mostly took care of the dead area at hi revs.  Cant belive Mazda had such a restrictive intake box from the factory.

5 of 5 awesome! May 25, 2008

Awesome sound, better throttle response. You'll probably turn down your radio most of the time to hear the "whoosh" from the BOV that you couldn't hear before. This intake is also $10 cheaper through Mazdaspeedstore.com I also received it within 3 days from there. Not spamming just letting people know if they are out of stock here.  Will the Cobb short ram ever be released?
