Street Unit Performance EGR Block Off Plate
Application: MAZDASPEED 6, MAZDASPEED 3, CX-7

The Street Unit EGR Block Off Plate allows you to bypass the factory EGR system on your MAZDASPEED 6, MAZDASPEED 3, or CX-7. This keeps carbon soot out of your intake manifold, thus keeping your intake manifold and intake valves clean from carbon buildup.
  • Machined from billet aluminum
  • Custom designed by Street Unit Performance specifically for its application
  • Bolt-on installation
Please note: with using the EGR Block Off Plate, there is a possibly of an intermittent CEL from bypassing the EGR system. This will not effect engine performance or longevity and the CEL can be easily cleared with a scan tool such as the MSD DashHawk or the Cobb AccessPORT ECU Programmer.

A little expensive for a piece of aluminum but does a good job of keeping your intake manifold clean. I would recommend using an oil catch can in conjunction with the egr block off plate to really keep your manifold clean. My intake manifold was very "gunked" up now it is a lot cleaner due to the catch can and egr block off plate. I have pictures to prove it. I will be putting them up on you tube shortly. Use the Cobb AP to shut off the P0401 code as it will turn on eventually but your car will run fine even if you don't clear the code.

The egr blockoff is one of the best ways to clean up you're intake and keep you're plugs free of fouling wich causes a rough idle, great product for the picky ms3 tuners who dont like sketchy performance. good price too. did not throw cel on my application.

after extensive searching about what my accessport programmer can do i found out after downloading the  AP tunner race software that i could delete the p0401 code after install this egr block off plate ,trust me exhaust is cleaner so r my spark plugs ,but if u do not have a accessport port i dont think this is a good product for u cause of the setting of the p0401 code coming up everyday ,note race software is free to download from COBB'S
